Pursuant to the circular shared with you on ‪April 1st regarding the ‘Emergency Situation Surcharge’, please note that we are still seeing the adverse effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on airlines and the cost of their services. Many airlines are taking emergency measures to reduce costs, doing what’s required to maintain business continuity as they perform the vital task of connecting the world’s economies.‬‬

Therefore, and as of ‪September 16th, 2020, we will be increasing the Emergency Situation Surcharge to eighteen percent (18%) per AWB on all export and import shipments. This surcharge is a temporary measure and will apply to all document and parcel shipments until further notice. ‬

As we continue to take all the necessary measures to minimize health and safety risks and comply with the regulations of local authorities in all our facilities and throughout the delivery network, the surcharge will continue to apply until the pandemic is officially renounced by authorities and the need for Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) is no longer required.
